Chainbalance is a fast-growing company focused on Smart Merchandise Management throughout the entire value chain for wholesale and retail fashion and apparel brands worldwide. Already today, Chainbalance plays a crucial role in making the day-to-day operations of many merchandise teams more efficient and transparent. Our head office is located in the Bondpark building in Breda, the Netherlands. A second office is located in Berlin, Germany. These challenges are waiting for you: As Database Developer, you are responsible for developing new functionalities integrating existing reporting and operational tools into the client environment. You will work closely with the Customer Success team to help with onboarding and support. You report directly to the COO. In this role, you will be a fundamental part of our growth strategy and will be responsible for the following tasks:
Develop new functionalities
Maintaining existing projects
Integration of existing reporting and operational tools into client environment.
Contribute to our minimum of 4 new releases per year
Responsibility for the technical part of the onboarding process of new customers.
Helping our support department as a second-line technical supporter
Your profile This is an opportunity for anyone with the following qualifications:
Experienced with C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, .NET Framework, Entity Framework (Core), LINQ
Knowledge of design patterns and SOLID principles
Experienced with relational database design, SQL Server
Experience with GIT, Jira/Azure Devops, Visual Studio 2019;
Advanced skills of REST Web API
Experience with Javascript/Angular 14+/MS Azure
Experience with agile software processes;
Good debugging and coding skills;
Demonstrated ability to come up-to-speed quickly on a new technical domain/product area;
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-growth environment;
Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex technical difficulties into lay language to a non-technical audience;
Eager to learn and flexible to support different areas of development;
Conversational/fluent in English or willing to follow training on the job with native speakers.
